6h agoA Nassau committee has approved funding for a study on a road known for crashes and other issues.
$550,000 will be spent to try and figure out how to make Dutch Broadway safer. The road moves along the Nassau-Queens borders in Valley Stream and Elmont.
Officials have reported more than 80 crashes on Dutch Broadway between 2013 and 2018.
Those crashes resulted in 70 injuries and three deaths.
