Video captured several ospreys that were recently spotted in Riverhead.

The birds migrate to Long Island every year around March.

The nonprofit "Group For The East End" will monitor hundreds of breeding sites across the East End. They then will report to the state to help conserve and restore the osprey population.

Ospreys had previously been considered endangered, but have come off the list in the last decade.

The organization has been monitoring ospreys for over 30 years.
