Officials say a woman made it out safely and uninjured during a Sunday evening house fire in Hicksville.

They say crews responded to the scene on on Spindle Road just after 6 p.m.

The woman was escorted out of the residence before the fire department arrived.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known as of Sunday night.
