A home health aide from Long Island has been arrested for allegedly forging checks from her elderly patient.

Police say Lakeview resident Kiondra Bullocks-Bassoo tried to deposit checks from her 76-year-old patient in August.

A few days earlier, officials say Stephanie Fletcher tried to use the same elderly woman's credit card to make purchases at a Valley Stream Target.

Fletcher is also from Lakeview.

Both women have been arrested and face several charges, including attempted grand larceny and identity theft.
