Officials: 90% of Nassau adult residents received at least 1 dose of COVID-19 vaccine

The number is 11% ahead of the state’s vaccination rate, and about 15% above the nation’s, according to new data released from the New York state Health Department.

Officials say Nassau County is now the state’s most vaccinated county.
According to Nassau County Executive Laura Curran, 90% of adult residents have received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose.
The number is 11% ahead of the state’s vaccination rate, and about 15% above the nation’s, according to new data released from the New York state Health Department.
Nassau also has the second-highest adult vaccination rate among the 40 most populous counties in the United States.
