Oceanside man charged in crime spree across Nassau County

Police say they pulled over Vincent Fredricks for driving a stolen BMW on W. John Street in Westbury on Monday.

An Oceanside man was charged in a crime spree across Nassau County.
Police say they pulled over Vincent Fredricks for driving a stolen BMW on W. John Street in Westbury on Monday.
They say the BMW was used in multiple crimes in Nassau.
Fredricks is also accused of stealing gas and tip jars from 11 businesses.
He is connected to 23 cases from January through this week, according to detectives.
Police say Pia Califano, of Levittown, is also a suspect in those robberies.
