News 12 has learned that several of President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet nominees, including Howard Lutnick, are facing threats of violence.

The NYPD confirms a bomb threat was made against Lutnick's home on the Upper East Side. Lutnick is Trump's commerce secretary pick.

News 12 Long Island also learned that Lee Zeldin's home was targeted. He is Trump's pick to head the Environmental Protection Agency.

Rep. Elise Stefanik's office confirms her family's Saratoga County home was also targeted.

The Trump transition team said in a statement, "Law enforcement acted quickly to ensure the safety of those who were targeted. President Trump and the entire transition team are grateful for their swift action."

The FBI says it is aware of numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents targeting Trump Cabinet nominees and appointees. The agency said it is working with law enforcement and encouraged the public to report anything they consider suspicious.

Gov. Kathy Hochul called the threats "unacceptable" and said state police are working with federal authorities.
