A first-grade teacher from Farmingdale has been arrested on federal child pornography charges.
Over the span of a year, Christopher Ward sent and possessed hundreds of images and videos of children being abused, prosecutors say.
Those children were under the age of 12.
The 37-year-old taught in Queens and Manhattan, according to the US Attorney’s Office.
Ward faces up to 20 years in prison, if convicted.
