Brooklyn residents can now fight back against noise with the free NYC Noise Monitor app.
The app allows residents to record decibel levels, log the type of sound and note when and where it happens.
The city will use the data with noise cameras to track hotspots and enforce limits, aiming to make the city a little quieter.
Residents tell News 12 they are skeptical anything will come from it.
“Would it change anything? That’s the real question, will it stop people from making noise," said Bobby, a Canarsie resident.
