The New York State Department of Agriculture is warning people of a frozen waffle recall due to possible listeria contamination.

Some of the waffles that are possibly affected include store brands sold at Stop & Shop, Walmart and Target.

The waffles are made by Treehouse Foods.

Consumers are advised to check their freezers for any of the affected products and dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase for credit.
