Members of North Shore Synagogue in Syosset teamed up with other synagogues on Sunday to help provide much needed items to Israel amid its war against Hamas.

Duffel bags packed with first aid and personal items as well as clothing and blankets filled the tables and hallways of the congregation.

"We need them to know that they do not stand on their own, they do not stand alone. We stand with them," said Rabbi Jaimee Shalhevet.

Anyone who would like to donate money for the collection drive can do so by visiting the North Shore Synagogue website.
