An explosion at a Port Washington skating rink forced some 50 people to be evacuated Saturday.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. at the Family Skating Center on Seaview Boulevard. According to Nassau Firecom, two propane tanks on a zamboni ice re-surfacing machine exploded.
No one was injured in the incident.
