News 12 has learned that there were no smoke detectors present when a house caught fire in Farmingdale Sunday.
The fire occurred around 9:30 p.m. on North Maple Street.
Firefighters from six departments were called to battle the flames and smoke inside the two-story home.
The blaze was under control in about 45 minutes and no injuries were reported.
