Newsday: Coliseum to become music theater under new proposal

The Coliseum's new leaseholder has until next month to submit a plan to Nassau County detailing the future operations of the arena.

The Nassau Coliseum may be turning into a music venue.
Newsday says there's now a plan to downsize the iconic Uniondale venue into a music theater once the Islanders move to Belmont Park next year. There is no word on a new seating capacity.
As of now, the Coliseum holds more than 14,000 spectators.
