Town officials noted that there will be alternate parking options available for patrons. They will include:
  • Limited parking on the north side of Evergreen Avenue and on Leonard Blvd. Walking access to the park is available from Leonard Blvd. and the main entrance.
  • The Employee Parking Lot will be temporarily available to patrons.
  • After 4 p.m., there will be limited parking in the New Hyde Park Memorial High School parking lot across the street. North Hempstead Public Safety will be on site to assist.
