New York officials announced the state is investing $100 million into New York students' mental health.
The initiative is all part of a COVID-19 Recovery Grant program.
The money is going toward helping kids with any trauma they suffered during the pandemic.
Another $8 million will create school-based mental health clinics.
The funding will be split between the next two school years.
