New Rochelle school officials said antisemitic and racist graffiti were found at the Huguenot Academy of New Rochelle High School.
District Superintendent Dr. Corey Reynolds said on Thursday vandals used antisemitic slurs and a racially derogatory reference to the Black community.
He said such acts of hate and bigotry have no place in their educational environment or anywhere in society.
He also said conversations need to start immediately to address the incivility and hate head-on.
No arrests had been made in connection to the incident as of Friday night.
