New progress in fight against junk fees for parents flying with kids
The Department of Transportation made an announcement today that will be music to the ears of parents who fly with their kids.
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg outlined the department's new proposal that would "ensure children & accompanying adults can stay together as they travel at no additional cost."
A new dashboard has been rolled out that highlights the airlines that guarantee parents can sit next to their young children without having to pay a fee.
Additionally, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Frontier Airlines have announced that parents are guaranteed to be allowed to sit with their young children without facing additional junk fees.
