New Bridgehampton Target set to open in the fall

One of the world's largest retail chains is getting ready to open a new spot on the East End.
Target says they are on schedule to welcome customers to their latest location in Bridgehampton this October.
The 90,000 sq. ft. store will open its doors at 244 Montauk Highway, though an exact date has not been announced.
The company called for residents to apply for jobs in a welcome message on their website.
As News 12 has reported, this Target will replace the old K-Mart in the Bridgehampton Commons shopping center.
Before closing in 2024, after 25 years in business, it was the last full-scale K-Mart in the country.
