Nesconset-based Paws of War helped reunite a soldier with a dog she rescued in the Middle East.
Lt. Alsye Schnurr found Kucik while she was deployed and knew she could not leave him behind.
The local charity stepped up and got Kucik to the United States.
Kucik will now live with Schnurr in Tennessee.
