Vaccine shortage issues at Nassau University Medical Center could soon be resolved.
As News 12 has reported, the hospital's chief medical officer said that NUMC would run out by Thursday afternoon.
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran says that more shots are on the way.
"We're actually working to see if we can free up some of our doses for them, but that's not official yet, so just stay tuned on that, but we are working really hard to get them to make sure that all of their appointments can be fulfilled," says Curran.
Officials have said the dose shortages stem from the federal government's distribution plan.
