Nassau County is kicking off Long Island restaurant week.
In an effort to attract new restaurant customers, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran has renewed the "Taste Nassau Today" campaign in Rockville Centre.
Curran also highlighted restaurants like George Martin the Original and others in walking distance of Long Island Rail Road stops.
“Our restaurant owners have done such a good job of putting in the partition, putting in the sanitation. Pivoting, recalibrating, to keep their restaurateurs, to keep their employees safe, and to keep their customers safe as well," says Curran.
Restaurant week runs through Saturday, Jan. 31.
