Blakeman spoke out against the migrant crisis in the county and bail reform, both issues he blamed the state government for.
The Republican says the county has become a cash cow for New York and is not seeing a return despite an increase in county sales tax revenues.
He says the key to holding the line on property taxes is attracting new business.
