A donation drive from the Nassau County District Attorney's Office looks to give graduates from the Probation Department’s Dress for Success program a leg up on job interviews.
The program provides graduates with ties and scarves that they can use on job interviews.
District Attorney Anne Donnelly says it's about more than just dressing the part.
"A program like this where we can give them something that makes them feel a little more confident, I think is the first step on a road to that non-recidivism type of life,” she said.
Donnelly says she donated about a dozen of her scarves to the program.
More than 220 scarves and ties will go to the graduates
