A Nassau County English teacher's legacy lives on through the gift of books thanks to the nonprofit Hindi's Libraries.
Hindi was an English teacher at a private school on Long Island but died suddenly in 2018 from complications of Crohn's disease.
The nonprofit collects children's books, gently used books and new books. They are then donated all over the world at no cost to the recipient.
