Nassau County is preparing to host the men’s T-20 Cricket World Cup at Eisenhower Park.
This morning, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman announced the 2024 event will be held at the park.
The International Cricket Council says an agreement has been reached to build a 34,000-seat stadium.
The agreement depends on whether the county can get a required permit.
That decision is expected to happen next month.
