It has been five years since the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Bronx residents say they will never forget.
Murals and memorials are scattered throughout the Bronx to pay tribute to the victims of the attacks. Some residents say they visit the sites to reflect on the friends and loved ones they lost.
Many say the memorials will remain in the borough forever and hope future generations can learn about the country?s history from them. Many of the murals were painted by Bronx artists and financed by members of the community.
