MTA worker slashed in Morris Heights

A 65-year-old MTA worker was assaulted after a dispute with a woman at the 176th Street station in Morris Heights, according to police.

Police say a 26-year-old woman slashed the employee on his left pinky just before 3 a.m. on Friday.

He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.
