The wave pool is located at Wilson's Woods Park in Mount Vernon.
Westchester County Executive George Latimer blamed ongoing technical issues that won't be fixed until after Labor Day - when the summer season comes to a close.
Fees will be waived for the spray deck, aqua playground and slides to make up for the loss.
