A motorcyclist is recovering after two motorcycles crashed in Riverhead.   Riverhead police say the biker was driving on Sound Avenue near Route 105 when he collided with another man he was riding with.   His friend says the injured biker was likely distracted by a car turning out of a parking lot.   The rider was air-lifted to the hospital. His injuries aren't clear yet.

A temperature around 44 degrees for the high and then this evening going out for dinner, you're looking at temperatures in the low forties and then by tomorrow morning, mostly cloudy skies, temperature around 32 degrees. Waking up on your Wednesday morning, there is a slight chance of a Sprinkle or a flurry overnight as war warm air comes in from the west. So you're seeing the clouds here and some moisture we have what we call an Alberta Clipper kind of screaming on by here and it's gonna go to the south and there's gonna be some clouds. And as it moves south of Long Island, there will be the chance overnight of a quick little rain, snow shower or Sprinkle or flurry overnight into the first part of our Wednesday hour by hour, the rest of today, 42 degrees five o'clock in Bay Shore at 38 at 8 p.m. There's the clouds and again, slight chance of a Sprinkle of flurry into your Wednesday morning. You can see here on our weather maps. Then by Wednesday afternoon, mostly cloudy skies and Wednesday has a chill to the air. A high of only 41 and there will be a slight chance even Wednesday afternoon of a quick little rain or snow shower. You see that right here at around five 45 with temperatures in the thirties. Another reinforcing shot of cold air coming in towards Thursday morning, temperatures are going to be in the upper twenties and low thirties. Then mostly cloudy skies, Thursday afternoon, a slight chance of a quick little Sprinkle moving on through and then the warm air comes in going towards your weekend and wet. Here you go Sunday. This is towards Sunday evening. It's raining. There could be some moderate to heavy rain, Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening and some strong gusty winds. We could be looking at Sunday afternoon with winds gusting near 40 MPH. So we need to be weather aware for that Sunday time frame a high near 44 today with mostly cloudy skies thirties tonight, mostly cloudy chance of a rain or snow shower through tomorrow. Cold disorder of Hanukkah. And there's the rain Sunday into Monday morning.
