A man on a motorcycle has been killed after crashing in North Bay Shore, officials say.

The incident happened on Ohio Avenue near Delaware Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

In video obtained by News 12, you can see the motorcycle on the ground after hitting a red Ford Mustang.

Police say the biker, 31-year-old Michael Joya, of Bay Shore, was rushed to Southside Hospital where he died.

The driver of the car was not hurt.

Detectives want anyone with information on the crash to give them a call.
