News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says it will be sunny and seasonable Wednesday with a gradual warmup into the 50s for the weekend.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
-Coastal flood advisory for the South Shore of Nassau County overnight. Only minor flooding in vulnerable spots expected.
-Sunshine and dry weather coming up through Friday with warming temperatures.
-The weekend is trending drier and brighter, so I switched my pick to Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low-50s.
-Watching for the chance of some rain early next week.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows near 27 degrees. North wind 5 to 15 mph. Sunrise 6:57
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy at times. Highs near 44. Northeast winds 5 to 15 mph. Mostly clear at night with lows near 28. Light northeast winds.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and nice. Highs near 45. Lows near 35.
FRIDAY: Partly sunny and feeling mild with highs near 48. Mostly cloudy at night with the slight chance of a passing shower. Lows near 38.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny and mild with highs near 53. Lows near 40.
