A popular Montauk light show will not be taking place this holiday season.
The Montauk Lighthouse Tower and Keepers dwelling will not be lit up this year for the holidays.
The Montauk Point Lighthouse Museum Committee says there are significant repair and maintenance costs, and it cannot come up with the $50,000 needed for the holiday light show.
The committee says if someone offers to fund the show before Nov. 1, the show would go on.
