Some Bay Shore residents say the plows dumped snow in front of their driveways, and they can't get out.


Suffolk Transit resumed service at 10 a.m. Monday, according to the county executive.

NICE Bus service has resumed on a limited, hourly basis.

Travelers are advised to use the mobile app to check the status of the bus in real time.

Those who do not have the app can check the “Where’s My Bus” feature on the NICE website or visit its service alert page for updates.

USPS is reminding residents to keep walkways and sidewalks clear of any remaining snow from last night’s storm.

The U.S. Postal Service says those who do not make a safe path for letter carriers may not receive their mail.


LIRR operating on weekend schedule

The LIRR is operating on a Sunday scheduled due to the storm.

There will be less peak service on every branch. Commuters are urged to check the TrainTime app before heading to the station.

Every branch is being impacted and there are some additional delays.


Huntington crews tackle winter weather 

As the winter weather hit Long Island, DPW crews in the Town of Huntington are out on the roads plowing the local roads Monday morning.

Residents are urged to use caution while traveling and give plows plenty of space.
