A new 20,000 square foot facility for health professionals is opening at Molloy University.
It includes state-of-the-art classrooms, high-tech skill labs and stimulation labs to train a new generation of nurses on North Broadway in Amityville.
Molloy says 1,500 undergraduate and graduate nursing students will be able to learn in the facility.
"It feels more like real life scenario - that's important," says nursing student Fabiola Matus. "I'm sure over the years we've progressed a lot with tech so it just brings us closer to what a real life scenario would be like."
The facility will also allow for the school to offer additional courses in medical assisting, medical coding, addiction counseling and home inspection.
