Celebrations kick off across Long Island today in honor of Juneteenth.
Molloy College is marking Juneteenth by unveiling its new Mobile Health Clinic at the Town of Hempstead Municipal lot in Baldwin this morning.
The goal of the van is to provide free health care to underserved communities on Long Island.
What is Juneteenth?
5 things to know about the longest-running African American holiday
The van has a private exam room and offers several services, including preventative health screenings, speech and hearing screenings, and music therapy.
The van will be at 881 Merrick Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
