The Nassau County Model Train Show wrapped up yesterday at the Bethpage Senior and Community Center, marking a successful weekend for two good causes.
The event raised money for the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum and the Nassau County Games for the Physically Challenged.
"By raising money and funding the games this way, it doesn't cost anybody anything and the people who deserve it get a great activity in the spring," says Joel Berse, Show Coordinator.
Trainville Hobby, responsible for setting up the model layouts, contributed to the event, which celebrated its 11th year.
