Millennium Art Academy High School holds first Art Week showcase

Fourteen students from Millennium Art Academy High School showcased their work at a local McDonald’s Friday during the school’s first Art Week.

The event at the fast-food spot on 1600 Bruckner Blvd. was thanks to Toli Management and McDonald’s owner and operator Tony Rodriguez, who partnered with the school.

District 85 Assembly Member Kenny Burgos and 43rd Precinct Deputy Inspector Yerlin Moya were judges as the student’s displayed their art.

Visual artist Carla Torres was also a judge. They chose three winners out of the 14 students participating in the event.
