As February turns to March, Long Island residents are readying themselves for another bout of weekend winter weather.

A wintry mix of rain and snow are expected to fall throughout Saturday. The precipitation will be milder than the recent storms that pummeled the northeast.

Little to no accumulation is expected as rain will likely wash away any snow that sticks to the ground. Lingering showers of snow and rain will be seen Saturday morning, but temperatures will be above freezing.
