Sincoff says rain will increase Wednesday afternoon, with a small chance of some flash flooding possible across the region.
NEXT: Unsettled weather continues with mostly cloudy conditions and a chance of a sprinkle or two to round out the workweek. High temperatures cool into the 40s with more sunshine heading towards New Year's Eve.
A dense fog advisory has been issued for all of New Jersey through 10 a.m. Tuesday.
