A Melville pharmacist has been convicted of selling black market drugs to patients.
Officials say Ira Gross, 63, and his company Chaparral Services were found guilty of selling HIV medications illegally online that were obtained from the black market.
The medications were sold through "MOMS pharmacy," which is an online pharmacy based in Melville.
Some of those medications where mislabeled or potentially expired, officials say.
Prosecutors say Medicaid and others were illegally billed over $270 million with Gross making $25 million.
Gross is facing up to 25 years in prison.
