The domestic relief organization hosted a nationwide Mega Back to School Giveaway on Saturday.
The group collaborated with Nassau County officials to host the event at the Shaw Avenue School in Valley Stream.
Around 600 backpacks and school supplies were given out, including pencils, erasers and notebooks.
