A Medford woman has pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder for suffocating her twin 2-year-old daughters, the Suffolk County district attorney says.

Prosecutors say 28-year-old Tenia Campbell suffocated the girls in 2019 then called her mother saying, "I killed them with my hands."

On Wednesday, Campbell admitted to the Class A violent felony. She is due back in court on Jan. 25, 2024 for a sentencing conference.

The district attorney says Campbell is expected to be sentenced to 20 years to life in prison.
