Residents in Freehold were subjected to air quality concerns on Thursday afternoon during a scrap metal fire.
Flames engulfed a portion of the Beacon Scrap Metal Yard on Throckmorton Street.
The area is surrounded by homes and residents were advised to keep doors and windows closed and limit outdoor activities at the height of the fire as Hazmat crews took over.
All appears to be under control as of Friday morning.
There is no word on a cause.
