The Massapequa Starbucks will become the first store on Long Island approved to unionize.

It is a major victory for workers at the location on Merrick Road.

The location is the second location to announce a unionization bid back in February, among three other Starbucks locations on Long Island.

It was overwhelming approved by the store's employees in a 19 to 8 vote.
