Police say a Massapequa man who was hit by a car in a gas station parking lot Sunday has died.

They say 65-year-old Robert Stevenson was walking out of the Bolla Market at the Mobil Gas station on Merrick Road when an unidentified driver entered the parking lot going the wrong way and struck him.

Officials say Stevenson passed away last night.
