Marlboro School District says a high school student received an anonymous threat through AirDrop on Monday.

The violent message appears to be a screenshot image, not specific to the high school or school district, dated Oct. 4.

The school says the origin of the threat has not yet been determined.

School activities at Marlboro High School resumed as scheduled Tuesday, but there was an additional police presence throughout the district.
