Hundreds of people wearing pink were in Manhasset Sunday to raise awareness about breast cancer and raise funds for research.

Manhasset Women's Coalition Against Breast Cancer held its 23rd annual 5K Walk or Run for a Cure at Mary Jane Davies Green Park.

News 12’s Antoinette Biordi was there as organizers encouraged more women to get mammograms and helped them with outreach services.

They hope to raise around $5,000 from the day’s race.
