Detectives say the 16-year-old was walking on Henry Street last Friday when a man pulled up in a dark blue Mercedes and tried to talk to her.
News 12 has been told the victim looked into the car and saw the man performing a lewd act.
The girl ran and hid in a bush and the man sped off.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
