Police say a man was struck and injured by a bullet that entered a North Bay Shore apartment where he was staying.
It happened around 4 a.m. on Hemlock Drive.
Police say the 25-year-old victim was struck and taken to Southside Hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Detectives say the incident appears targeted, but they did not release information on a possible motive.
The man was not immediately identified.
